Historical Store
Shingle Inn are proud to announce that the original 1936 cafe has found a new home. Brisbane City Council and Lord Mayor Campbell Newman have recently reached an agreement with Shingle Inn to re-establish the historic store in City Hall as part of the major redevelopment.
We trust that this is exciting news for loyal customers and supporters of Shingle Inn and look forward to continuing our long history as Queensland’s most iconic café with the grand re-opening in 2012.
